Some of our sophomores recently took part in their first worksite tour, visiting DP Tool, a metal manufacturing plant in Avon.
During the tour, students saw firsthand how a piece of raw metal material is transformed into finished products. They learned about the process of programming CNC machines and observed how precision parts- such as a differential casing for a Ford Raptor- are created.
Experiences like this give students a valuable look at real-world careers and the advanced technology used in modern manufacturing.
We want to thank Mrs. Harvey for making this possible. Her continued hard work and dedication in creating opportunities for our students to explore, experience, and learn about future career options is truly commendable. Her efforts open meaningful pathways for students to discover their interests and envision their futures with confidence. Our school community is stronger because of her commitment to expanding possibilities for every learner!

We’d like to share a wonderful example of the leadership, courage, and kindness our student-athletes demonstrate every day.
At the start of our first-round Sectional game against Pembroke, the sound system unexpectedly failed during the pregame announcements, leaving us unable to play the National Anthem. That's when Natalie C. quietly stepped out of the introduction line, walked over to the scorer’s table, and offered to help.
Without hesitation, and with no warm-up, Natalie stepped forward and beautifully sang the National Anthem a cappella. Her willingness to step up in the moment showed tremendous confidence and leadership, and it set a positive tone for the entire evening.
Natalie was later recognized for this moment with the Section V “Caught in the Act of Kindness” Award.
We are incredibly proud of Natalie and grateful for the example she set for our school community. Great job, Natalie!

First graders explored transparent, translucent, and opaque materials- and then put their learning to work by creating their very own stained glass windows! 🎨
They tested how light passes through different materials and turned their discoveries into colorful masterpieces. Now they decorate the doorways of the school 🌈💡

We want to send a HUGE congratulations to the members of our 3rd Grade Orchestra and 4th Grade Band for an incredible Beginners Concert tonight!
For many of these students, this was their very first time on stage- showing off everything they’ve learned and all the hard work they’ve put in. It takes courage to perform in front of an audience, and they rose to the occasion with confidence and pride.
We are so proud of their dedication, growth, and beautiful music!

🏆 Congratulations to our High School Brainstormers, who recently brought home the first-place trophy after their latest competition! Even more impressive- they finished the season undefeated. Great job, team! 👏

🎶🎻 The second grade team recently went on a field trip to see the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra perform! Students learned about the four instrument families of the orchestra and the important role of the conductor.
It was an exciting experience to watch a real orchestra demonstrate changes in tempo and dynamics, bringing music concepts to life in a memorable way!
