GO BLUE spirit eclipsed Geneseo Elementary this week as we celebrated the traits of optimism and bravery. A sea of white and blue...

Mrs. Berkes and a group of eager fifth graders took over GCC today at their annual STEAMJam. The kids came back with custom-made memories and a lot of stories to share. They were most proud for showing “all of the GO BLUE traits”.

Kinder Students are real concerned that the leprechaun snuck in without permission! They wanted us to ask their parents if they know how the leprechaun got in. Parents?

Elementary band students participated in a 'solo-fest' in February. The scoring for a solo fest is out of 28 points. 26-28 is considered outstanding, 22-25 is considered excellent. Most of the 5th graders earned perfect scores or the 'outstanding' category. Our 4th grade students did a great job as well, all placing either in outstanding or excellent. Bravo!

Mrs. Berkes and a group of third graders spent the last few weeks building an understanding of fractions with some hands-on, authentic learning. Today they finished their studies by hosting a pot-luck lunch that they prepared all on their own. Rave reviews came in from the staff they catered to.

Registration is open for Vacation Club through the YMCA. We have openings available in March and April.
