Elementary band students participated in a 'solo-fest' in February. The scoring for a solo fest is out of 28 points. 26-28 is considered outstanding, 22-25 is considered excellent. Most of the 5th graders earned perfect scores or the 'outstanding' category. Our 4th grade students did a great job as well, all placing either in outstanding or excellent. Bravo!

Mrs. Berkes and a group of third graders spent the last few weeks building an understanding of fractions with some hands-on, authentic learning. Today they finished their studies by hosting a pot-luck lunch that they prepared all on their own. Rave reviews came in from the staff they catered to.

Registration is open for Vacation Club through the YMCA. We have openings available in March and April.

4th grade band and third grade strings concert!

GES fourth graders used MakeyMakey’s to present their research reports. These interactive displays were a collaboration of Reading, Writing, Science, and STEAM curriculum. Students recorded each part of their report and when you touched the poster it shared what they recorded.
