Meet Brad Lehman

Background

  • “I am from Lowville which is in the North Country, about a half hour east of Watertown. I went to SUNY Potsdam where I earned my bachelor's degree in elementary education, then went on to the University at Albany, where I earned my master's degree in literacy. Since then, I received my physical education and administration degree from SUNY Brockport.”

Favorite hobby?

  • “I enjoy watching and playing sports. In addition, summer is my favorite season. My family and I love being outside, camping and swimming.”

What made you choose GCSD?

  • “I am very excited to have the opportunity to be at Geneseo. I grew up in a town about the same size and I enjoyed that kind of upbringing. I have always enjoyed working in rural school areas..”

What motivates you to work everyday?

  • “I love having the opportunity to grow–to help others grow and by doing so, ultimately helping students succeed. The final goal for all of our kids is graduation and I want to be part of a team that helps them every step of the way.”

What are your goals this school year?

  • “My goal is to create relationships with families, staff and students in order to gain perspective on my role and how it can help the district as a whole.”
