Construction of the Geneseo Central School District’s new music rooms is almost complete, and students are expected to begin using the new spaces this month.
The redesign of the instrumental and choral rooms are part of the current capital improvement project passed by voters in 2021. Some of the changes will allow more space, improve the quality of sound and better lighting.
The classrooms are expected to be completed within the next few weeks.
“We're absolutely thrilled by the remarkable advancements in the band and vocal rooms,” Superintendent Cindy Flowers said. “Soon our incredible staff and students will be making the most of these aesthetically pleasing facilities. With these new spaces, our talented students and dedicated staff can take their artistry to new heights.”
