As always Geneseo Central School Food Service Staff is looking forward to providing students with a nutritious well – balanced menu option for the 2010-11 school year.
We serve breakfast daily with an assortment of low-sugar, low fat cereal options, granola bars, cereal bars, fresh fruit and yogurt, just to mention a few. Hot entrees are available twice a week for 6-12 grade students. Tuesday is Breakfast Sandwich Day, featuring a different sandwich option weekly. Thursday is another hot entree day with an assortment of entrees that feature anything from pancakes w/ syrup to hot steaming oatmeal. Please look at our posted breakfast menu for details.
New this year, K-5 breakfast students will receive a grab-n-go bag. This option will provide students with the same nutritious breakfast as always. Menu choices will be posted on a monthly menu. This new service will provide students a quicker breakfast line enabling them to return to their classrooms in a more timely manner resulting in more classroom instruction time.
Lunch is served with a variety of entrees and menus are posted monthly.
K-5 grade students have the daily options of the posted daily entree, a sandwich for the day, PBJ, or fresh made salad lunches. 6-12 grade students can choose from the daily entree, Salad Plate, or PBJ. They also have the option to visit our Pizza Shop and choose from a fresh baked slice of pizza, or visit our “Kiosk” for daily features which include anything from hot subs to veggie wraps.
Starting on October 1st we will open our Sport Study Hall Cafe. This will allow students who stay after school to participate in sports a chance to refuel before practice.

Reminder – free & reduced lunch applications are available if needed at the office or soon will be available on the web-site. New applications must be filled out yearly and returned by September 30 to provide uninterrupted benefit service.
Please note our charge policy: students in grades K-5 are allowed to charge up to 3 meals. For any additional meals they charge after the 3 meal grace period they will receive an alternate lunch choice of PBJ or cheese sandwich. Parents are notified of charges every two weeks by mail or phone call.
6-12 grade students are not permitted to charge at any time.
