GENESEO CENTRAL SCHOOL BOARD OF EDUCATION

The Geneseo Central School District Board of Education welcomes residents, staff, students and others to its meetings.

Meeting Dates: School Board meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. and are held on the first and third Tuesdays of the month in the Thomas Preston Media Center, 4050 Avon Road, Geneseo, New York, unless otherwise announced.  Agendas and minutes for the meetings can be viewed by clicking on the link at the left. Board of Education Member?
There are seven members on the Board of Education Geneseo Central School District.  This year we have three Board member positions open for a three-year term each.  If you are interested in running for the Board of Education the following procedures are followed:  Petitions for the Board of Education will be available from Linda L. James, District Clerk anytime after March 4, 2008 in the District Office.  Twenty-seven signatures of district residents are required.  You must be at least eighteen years old and a resident of the school district for at least one year prior to the election.  Please call Linda James at 243-3450 ext. 2214 if you have any further questions.

        Please note: The April Board meeting dates will be  April 1 and April 8.  The Board will not meet on April 15.

April 21 - Board of Education Petitions Due to District Clerk by 4:00pm

      May 6 - Annual Budget Hearing-GCS Auditorium 7:00pm

      May 20 -Budget and Board of Education Election
